In Vietnam, the Mid-Autumn festival has always been a time to slow down, gather, and share light with others. For Sharesource, it’s a reminder that community and compassion are at the heart of everything we do, creating opportunities, supporting young people, and making a real difference where it counts.
This year, we were proud to partner with the Đội Xung Kích, Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, HCMUT, as a sponsor for their annual community event, “Trung Thu Cho Em – Sum Vầy Ấm Áp” (A Warm Reunion for Children).
Student volunteers travelled to Tân An, where they spent the day celebrating with local children, creating handmade lanterns (a signature style of the mid-autumn festival). The main focus of the day was all about engaging with the community, listening, learning, and creating memories that bring people closer together.
As a B Corp, we believe that true impact happens when business and community work hand in hand. Supporting initiatives like this not only reflects our values but also aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Quality Education (SDG 4) and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10).
By engaging with local groups and empowering young people to take part in community-led projects, we help spark a cycle of care, learning, and action.
