How Sharesource is Lighting Up Mid-Autumn with Purpose and Community
As a B Corp, Sharesource believes business and community are stronger together. Here is how we celebrated Mid-Autumn 2025 with purpose and people.

At Sharesource, the Mid-Autumn Festival is more than a celebration. It is a reminder that business and community are most powerful when they work together. This year, we were proud to support an initiative that brought that belief to life in a meaningful way.
What is the Mid-Autumn Festival and Why Does It Matter?
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of Vietnam's most cherished cultural celebrations, a time to slow down, gather with loved ones, and share light with others. For many communities across Vietnam, it is also an opportunity to extend that spirit of warmth to those who need it most.
For Sharesource, it is a natural moment to reflect on why we exist as a business and to put our values into action beyond the workplace.
How Sharesource Celebrated Mid-Autumn 2025
This year, Sharesource partnered with the Đội Xung Kích, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at HCMUT, as a sponsor for their annual community event, Trung Thu Cho Em, Sum Vầy Ấm Áp, which translates to A Warm Reunion for Children.
Student volunteers travelled to Tân An, where they spent the day celebrating with local children. The day centred on making handmade lanterns, a signature tradition of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and on something just as important: genuine human connection. Listening, learning, and creating memories that bring people closer together.
Why Sharesource Invests in Community Initiatives Like This
As a certified B Corp, Sharesource believes that real impact happens when business and community work hand in hand. Supporting events like Trung Thu Cho Em is not a side activity. It is a direct expression of the values that shape how we operate every day.
This initiative also aligns with two of the UN Sustainable Development Goals that guide our social impact work:
Quality Education (SDG 4) by supporting environments where young people are encouraged to learn, engage, and grow through hands-on community participation.
Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) by connecting resources and opportunities to communities that benefit most from access to them.
When young people are empowered to lead community projects like this, it sparks a cycle of care, learning, and action that extends far beyond a single day.
Community is Core to Who We Are
Sharesource was founded on the belief that geography should never limit opportunity. That belief shows up in how we hire, how we support our team members, and how we show up for the communities where they live.
Initiatives like this Mid-Autumn sponsorship are part of a broader commitment to equalising opportunity, empowering future leaders, and creating impact that goes beyond business outcomes.
