We are in search of a highly capable DevOps Engineer who is interested in having scope to build new things that add to the already impressive library of automation assets. You will work as a subject matter expert as part of ongoing projects. The clients vary from SMB to SME. There will be ongoing training and explaining of DevOps work to project engineers (lunch and learn style, not professional training). You will be sitting in on client and project meetings as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

Support projects team with creating and maintaining reusable assets in CloudFormation, Service Catalog. Initially working directly under the CTO to take over day to day DevOps responsibility.
Highlights of the role would be to maintain an automated NOC which is in place to support our Monitoring by default Managed Services offering.
Create an automated testing and deployment suite for Service Catalog and project template library.

Qualifications

Good understanding of the AWS API
Problem solving skills
Risk adverse, without being too cautious
Good understanding of Windows and Linux admin
Good understanding of package deployment methods (composer, pip, yum, apt etc)
AWS Associate or Professional Certification
